After more than fifteen years in private industry, J. brings his education and professional experience in business and missions to the staff of Harvesters as its Director of Finance & Media.

J. grew up in a supportive Christian home outside of Charlotte, NC and came to know the Lord at an early age. He sees how the Lord has led him through opportunities and challenges to be uniquely suited for this position.

He graduated from King College with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics in 1996. Before receiving a master's degree in Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University in 2000 he spent five months living in a remote village in western Kenya, an experience that has shaped the trajectory of his life as one of his most rewarding and challenging opportunities. For the next decade, J. worked as Chief Financial Officer of a family-owned real estate development and construction firm and was named one of Charlotte's Top CFO's in 2009.

During his time in private industry, J. continued his involvement in missions through his local church, service as the youngest member of Harvesters' Board of Directors, and involvement on short-term teams to Kenya, Congo, Sudan, India, and Myanmar.

J. is unmarried and lives near his family in Charlotte, NC with his dog, Gatsby.
